Four days ago, I had an embarrassing experience that I forgot Windows administrator password. As there is so much important data on my desktop, I can not reinstall Windows. However, I thankfully found a useful tool Windows password Seeker at about.com PC support channel. I download the program from passwordseeker.com and followed step-by-step instructions. Finally, I removed Windows password successfully. http://www.passwordseeker.com

A BIOS password is a protection measure that can be used to stop someone powering up a computer system or making changes in some of the computers most sensitive areas. Many big name computer manufacturers such as Dell and HP lock the customers out of this area because they don't want the customer changing anything and potentially damaging the machine (which the manufacturer may have to warranty). However, when someone like a computer technician or hardware enthusiast needs to make some hardware changes to the computer, they will need to access the BIOS. Here are some methods to bypass or remove a BIOS password.

NOTE: Do not try to guess the password on a passworded Hard Drive. 3 wrong guesses will often result in the information on the hard drive being lost forever.

To clear the BIOS password, find the Cmos Battery in your Laptop and disconnect it from the motherboard for at least 10 minutes. This will clear the CMOS and clear the passwords. Connect the battery and power on Laptop..

I recommend MIT Bios Reset & Recovery Service to get your master password to clear all bios passwords and unlock your HP laptop . They are cheap only $20 and they reply quickly with your master password.

I locked myself out of my laptop how do i unlock it

Wow, another person locked out. LOL. Ok which password? The Bios Password? The Hard Drive Password? The Windows User Account Login Password? And for which Operating System?

If it's the hard drive password you're out of luck because that is set to keep thieves from gaining access to sensitive data. 99% of the time when you see a laptop where the user does not know the hard drive password, it's a stolen laptop.
The Bios Password and the Windows User Account Login Password can be cracked or allow you into the system, however if you're running Windows 7 and you forgot the Windows User Account Login Password, you will need the Password Reset Disk otherwise you'll have to reload your operating system.

I need to reset bios administrator password of my hp probook 5310m

If you know the password you can enter the BIOS settings to change the password.. but i stress that you WILL need the current password to do so.

If you do NOT know the current password, you will have to remove the Lithium ION 1.5v battery from the computer, which will require a miniature screw-driver. If you remove the battery for about 30 seconds, the BIOS settings will be cleared to default.

In order to do this I suggest you look up a guide on the manufacturer's website and find out where exactly the battery is housed. It is generally very easy to access the battery, so don't be too scared off by all of the steps provided.

If you are a newer of computer, you can use the bios/cmos password recovery tool from http://www.biospasswordrecovery.com

Wish you luck!

I want to remove a ASUS Eeepc 4g bios password which i forgot please guide me thanks.

http://www.unlockbiosrecovery.com/Unlock_ASUS_Bios.php can calculate a bios master password for your ASUS notebook for $20 and they guarantee it to work. The bios master password will clear the currently set bios password, giving you full access to bios setup. I repair laptops and I use them when I get a laptop with an unknown bios password or unknown hard drive password and they have always worked for me.

My laptop turned off and now its asking for a primary user hdd password witch i dont have how do i unlock it?

You have to unlock the hard drive from within BIOS if you don't want to see that screen again. However, if you don't know that password then the laptop is not going to usable by you. Normally this prevents access to a computer in case someone steals it, since the thief won't know the hdd password and can't unlock it to access any data.

Hello, My name is Vahe and I have got the following problem, I have forgot my BIOS password and I can't to turn on. Laptop model Toshiba satellite A200-13M. So I have got some solution to delete...

The most common way that most of us know on how to reset or clear the BIOS password is to physically remove the power from the computer by disconnecting the power plug and then removing the cmos battery for 30 minutes from the motherboard. Another way is to reset the clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard itself. Both of the 2 methods mentioned works because most motherboards use a battery to sustain the BIOS/CMOS settings for the motherboards PROM chip. So by cutting off cmos the battery power, the BIOS/CMOS settings will be erased. Hope this helps
