My pincode is blocked and it is asking puk number so i called to my customer care which is idea and then i enterd the puk no. and then it is asking new pincode no.,i enterd sum 4 didit no,and now it is asking verified pin no.so i typed the b4 4 digit no..and now it is saying code error

Just follow the instruction carefully as what the phone is asking.

Here is the steps :

If you got error lately,just turn off you mobile for 1 hour to reset the counter,cause if you continue entering wrong codes,the seem might be rejected or it goes like "simcard rejected

* turn on your mobile (mobile should be off for 1 hour to reset the counter)
* if ask for the PUK code,enter it
* If ask for a "NEW" PIN code,enter your new desired PIN code
* If ask to verify the code,just retype your new desired PIN code.

Kindly put wrong pin many times approx 10 times then you will get puk error. Call your customer care for getting puk number from other phone having same service providers sim then you will be able to get inside your phone.

I tried to enter the pincode for 3 times but the pincode blocked then the phone said enter the puk code then the sim card is rejected
Hi There,

  • This is a usual problem which occurs when an incorrect code is entered multiple times , when the phone is requesting for a PUK code,and eventtually the SIM card getls blocked after multiple incorrect codes or gets rejected.
  • May people are not aware from where can they get this PUK code,
  • The PUK code is provided by the SIM card's service provider , for instance , if your SIM card belongs to vodafone , then you need to call up vodafone customer service or helpline number and they will give you the PUk code after a usual ID check.
  • I would also like to inform you that people usually ask for a PUK code when their SIM card is locked and it's requesting a PUK code so they use their friend's cell phone to call up the customer care asking for help , however you can get the PUK code on the very day when you bring a new SIM card by asking the relevant executive in the service provider's gallery or calling up customer care.
  • Now all you need to do is get a new sim card , and ask for the PUK code to the service provider so that you can keep it stored to avoid future mishaps.

Pincode stands for PERSONEL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER. It is the fourdigit number which is used to lock the phone. The phone will ask for the code when you switch on it.With out entering the correct pin code you can't access your phone.If you enter the pin code wrongly for a specified(normally 3)number of ties your sim will get locked.You can't use that sim in other phones also without unlocking it.PUK code (PERSONAL UNLOCK KEY)is used tounlock the sim card if it is blocked.PUK code is provided by the network operators.If the PUK code is entered 10 times wrongly the sim card gets permenantly blocked.

just call ur network provider customer care and ask for the puk code.

call the airtel customer care number from ur friends airtel number by telling ur sim number (written in sim) and mobile number to the officer.we can get the PUK code..then u enter the code it will open...

if u enter ur pin code wrongly more than 3 tyms then ur cell will ask 4ur puk code... if in tat case remember tat if ur puk code is enterd wrongly then ur sim will be useless..... wen evr there is a puk code emergency call to ur customer care( the network which u use) and ask 4ur puk code.... u have u answer their 2 or 3 security questions and u'll get ur puk code... aftr enterin ur puk code ur old pin code will b changed so ask the customer care ppl abt ur new pin code... simpleeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

call idea customer care by any other idea user and ask for your puk code by telling them the numbers on the other side of your sim card and your sim contact number............
they will tell you your puk code...........

Forgot pinode and puk code
puk code is available at the customer care of every connection company.. so call customer care of the same connection company and tell them about the PUK code .... they will ask U some of Ur details to just clarifu and tell U the procedure to unlock Ur sim.....
