All coolers produce water as a result of condensation which occurs when air is cooled. The water appears upon the radiator (technically called the evaporator) inside the cold area of the cooler. When the water drips off of the radiator, it is caught by a pan which may or may not be a removable piece. The pan should lean toward the rear of the cooler and the water should pour into a drain tube. The drain tube should lead down into the compressor area of the cooler and deposit the water into another pain which is outside of the cooler where it should evaporate back into the air. Sometimes "cardboard" fins are used to help the water evaporate. Sometimes a pan with a huge surface area is used to help the water evaporate. Other times the pan is literally on top of the compressor. Make sure the cooler itself is level. Make sure room air is able to move over the pan where the water is supposed to evaporate. Make sure the drain hose is not clogged. Make sure pans are not leaking.

Why does my wine cooler run too cold?

If after adjusting your thermostat to desired temp and is still cooling. The thermostat is bad or your relay is bad
If you disconnect the thermostat and the compressor stops it most likely a bad thermostat
If you disconnect the relay from
The thermostat and it stay running it is the relay. It is sticking
If possible store you wine somewhere else and shut the unit down and unplug for 10 to 20 minutes this may cause some melt of condensation some water may be on the floor if is to cold
This may also reset the system.

Viking Wine Cellar Temperature Near-Freezing

Viking wine coolers are made by Marvel. They all had issues with freezing the contents. If you replace the electronic cold control system it will be fine.If you don't, it will freeze the wine popping the corks and leaking in the unit.If you get the parts from Marvell they are much cheaper.

Marvel 61wc wine cooler turns on, but doesn't cool

If you can hear the compressor running and there is no cooling happening your unit has either lost it's refrigerant due to a leak or the compressor is completly worn out (or both). If you just hear the condenser fan running (air blowing), then maybe the compressor just has bad electricals (starting relay, overoad, run capactor) or it has developed a bad winding and will need to be replaced.

If you know you have lost refrigerant the repair will be quite costly and you should consider replacement. If you feel it is a failure of the small electrical parts for the compressor, repair would be more cost effective.

You can get further trouble-shooting assistance and order parts direct from the factory at 800-223-3900.

You can look up a local servicer on their web-site at www.lifeluxurymarvel.com
Should you desire to attempt electrical repair yourself, reply to me and I will provide further troubleshooting assistance or you can contact Marvel Customer Service at the number above. Good-Luck, Subdriver

EVAPORATOR LEAKING NEED PART, FOR MARVEL 61WC

You can order a replacement evaporator assembly directly from the factory at 800-223-3900. I believe (working on memory here) the part# is 42244047 (for black) and 42244046 (for white) It comes with the suction line and capillary tube already brazed to the evaporator plate and comes with a new filter drier. They can also recommend a service technician in your area if you need one, They accept all major credit cards.
