Bosch Slimline Dishwasher ExxCEl UK - constantly cutting out during cycle. Programme starts and just switches off. If you bang the door it will continue from where it left off. Likewise if you open the door leave it for a while shut the door and turn it back on it will continue.

fault is that there is a leak. the tray at base of dishwasher is full of water which operates a float and turns on drain pump. tilt over 45deg and water will run out and then it will work or remove bottom front panel and mop out (better). then find leak

I have a Bosch that was stuck in pump down mode even when the door was open.
The problem ended up being too much water in the drip pan below the unit. There is a float in the drip pan that actuates the same limit switch as the internal overfilled float.
I had recently cleaned the incoming water filter and must have loosened the water line tube.
