Eagle Fishmark 320 Portable Fishfinder Logo

I've purchased an Eagle 320 fishfinder 2 years ago and I've had to replace my transducer twice. Every time I'm out fishing lakers in 50 to 100 feet of water, I keep loosing the bottom mark and the graph simply goes blank with the 0 depth mark flashing in and out on the screen. When this happens I hear a clicking sound coming from the transducer in the water. When I informed by dealer LeBaron where I bought the unit, I was suggested to replace the transducer as it the clicking sound meant the transducer was no longer any good. I've bought a new last year and I kept it indoors all winter and the same problem occured this spring. How can this be when my previous fishfinder was a Lowrence and the transducer lasted me for 10 years. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I leaning towards throwing out this fishfinder. Jean

Reading the manual it does say that there is a temperature range for these. I"m not sure where you live but it might be cold enough that it is damaging the transducer in the off winter months.

I need repair for my Eagle 320 Fish Mark. Where can I go?

Question moved from Eagle Televisions.

Phone and ask them if you can send it in. Very often your local marine electronics shop will have a preferred technician.

Think of where the transducer is fitted on your boat . As turbulence is the only problem you need to worry about. It needs too be on the transom but in between the lower 2 chines

When we are deep water (500 ft or deeper) the fish finder will display 3.5-10 ft. and won't show the fish or shows tons of fish. Are we able to set the depth that we would like to see eg: if we are...

Im not familiar with your particular unit but you should be using a low frequency transducer for water over 500'; something like a 50 kHz transducer or a dual frequency transducer like a 50/200kHz for detail with the high freq. but increased depth range on the lower frequency. As far as setting it to 250 ft, you should be able to use the range feature and adjust the maximum to 250'. typically the factory default is automatic so it will caonstantly adjust the range based on the maximum current depth.
