to troubleshoot this kind of problem. 1.check if the cables are well fitted into their ports. 2.if not, fit them properly. 3.if yes,you can restart the router by unplugging it from power source. 4.if this does not work,send a continuous ping to your isp's default gateway.
You may need to reset your device and you will see a reset button at back of your router so all you need is to keep holding it for 10 seconds then unplug the power jack for like 1 min and then your device shall be reset.But please make sure to backup your all settings first.
