To have Adobe® PageMaker® automatically number your pages, if the template isn't used, place a page number marker on the Master page of the document.

  • Go to the Master Pages by clicking on the page icons with the L and R on them at the bottom left corner of the screen.
  • Using the Text tool, draw a text block in the general area for the page numbers.
  • On the Mac, press Command+Option+P or in Windows, Ctrl+Alt+P.
  • Depending on the page you are on, the page marker will show up in the text block, LM on the left page, RM on the right page.
Auto page Number

  • This text can be formatted like any other text on your pages.
  • Select the Pointer tool and move the copy block into the correct position.
  • Click on a page icon to go to a page in your file and the actual page number will appear.
  • If the page icons do not have the correct page numbers on them, go to the File menu, select Document Setup and change the Starting page # field to the correct starting page number.

How can chapter titles be inserted into an existing document in Microsoft Word 2010?

Insert The Chapter Number And Title In A Header Or Footer

First divided your document into sections in order to insert chapter numbers and titles into headers and footers.

1. If you haven't done so already, insert a section break where you want to start a new section that contains a different chapter.
a. Click where you want to insert a section break.
b. On the Insert menu, click Break.
c. Under Section break types, click the option that describes where you want the new section to begin.

Note: If you have already inserted a page break to cause the chapter to start on a new page, delete the page break and replace it with a section break that starts on a new page.

2. Apply a built-in heading style to the chapter number and chapter title by clicking a heading style in the Style box on the Formatting toolbar.

Or to have Microsoft Word automatically number headings, use the Bullets and Numbering dialog box to format chapter headings.

a. On the Format menu, click Bullets and Numbering, and then click the Outline Numbered tab.
b. Click a chapter-numbering style (one that includes the text "Heading 1" or "Heading 2," and so on), and then click OK.
c. Type the text you want for the numbered heading, and then press ENTER.
d. To add the next numbered heading, go to the next chapter heading, click the arrow next to the Style box on the Formatting toolbar, and then select the heading style you specified in step 2.

===========================================

1. In the first chapter, on the View menu, click Header and Footer.

2. If necessary, move the insertion point to the header or footer you want to change.

3. Insert the chapter number or title.
a. On the Insert menu, point to Reference, and then click Cross-reference.
b. In the Reference type box, click Heading.
c. In the For which heading box, click the heading that contains the chapter number and title.
d. In the Insert reference to box, select what you want to insert in the header or footer. For example,
• Click Heading number to insert the chapter number.
• Click Heading text to insert the chapter heading.
e. Click Insert, and then click Close.

4. Click Show Next Button image to move to the header or footer of the next chapter.

5. If the header or footer in this chapter matches the one you just created, click Link to Previous Button image on the Header and Footer toolbar to break the connection between the header or footer in the current chapter and the previous chapter.

6. If there's already text in the header or footer that you don't want, delete the text before inserting the chapter number and title.

7. Repeat step 5 to insert the chapter number or title of the current chapter.

8. For each chapter in the document, repeat steps 5 through 9.

DELONGHI PERFECTA SAYS INSERT GROUNDS CONTAINER WHEN IT'S ALREADY INSERTED

Just had the same problem after washing my ESAM5500.
Seems that some water hot on the switch that is triggered when grounds container is inserted.
My solution was removing the bottom panel (5 screws if I remember correctly) and disconnect the green wire from the switch (there are three wires - green, ping and blue). When the green wire is disconnected, coffee maker thinks that grouns container is inserted all the time - even if it is removed.

Is there a way to determine the number of pages an Alps MD-1000 has printed, like a mileage gauge on a car.

Yes. It's very easy. Turn the printer off, unplug it, and disconnect the printer cable. Insert two sheets of paper, and make sure the paper feed is set to automatic. You need to have a black cartridge loaded into the 1st slot.

Plug in the printer and wait for the lights to turn off. Press and hold the power button at the same time press and hold the "ready/Insert" button. Release the power button, but keep holding the "ready/Insert" button for at least 4 seconds. After 4 seconds, release the "ready/Insert" button and quickly press it again. The printer will start the selftest.

For the 1300, the number of bands printed will be on page two. On the 1st page, there will be a black bar on the bottom of the page. It should be a solid black bar with no lines - this is the test for bad elements on the print head.

I put page 1 on my page 4 and I did it, but there is no number on rest of my document; pages 2,3,3... are blank

I'll assume you mean MS Word and not an computer motherboard.
Page numbers are done by Insert command, Then Page Numbes. Specify the page location (left, Center, Right) in the pop-up window and you are done. Each page will then have the number at the bottom automatically.

I need a water valve for a Monogram zd115 Ice maker. Where should I buy one. and what about a part number??

If you have the model number of the machine, or the old part in hand, you should be able to get your part at any appliance parts supply house (look in the yellow pages). It is better IMHO to take the part with you to the store.
Best regards, --W/D-- please feel free to rate this solution - thanx!

GE Monogram Ice Maker ZDI15 makes an ice sheet but does not drop or melt the sheet into cubes.

Below is a couple og links. One is for the user manual and the other is for parts should. Sounds to me the cutting grid is not getting hot and cutting the ice into cubes. PDF below, click link

http://imgs.ebuild.com/xCat/ebuildWebB/15?ObjectID=1105&Variant=Original

For parts or free answers go to this link and enter your model number into the search feature. Model ZD115C That will take you to a page with pictures and part numbers. The home page you may call or email for answeres. I did see a control board and for some reason the cutter is not heating this will cause the problem. Thanks, Sea Breeze

White-westinghouse automatic bread maker WWTR444A

Here is a quick pdf scan of the manual for a White-Westinghouse Model WWTR444A brad machine.

I didn't take great care in tweaking the scan. Some pages may have the edge cropped but all pertinent information should be discernible.
