Many models of Toshiba Satellite laptops have a capacitor called NEC/TOKIN Proadlizer which loses its capacitance with time and hence laptop freezes, shuts down or restarts when AC is plugged in. One needs to replace this cap as shown here:

It's possible that you are drawing too much power from the wall outlet. Try plugging it into a surge protector, and see if that makes a difference. If not, you may have a faulty cord and may need a new one.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Toshiba Satelite shuts down randomly

Try reinstalling your windows, or the program you use.
Or, look if its overheating, buy a cooling pad, it's not really expensive and it helps alot.

Keyboard locks randomly after login

Sound like you might have a virus - try running antivirus program - such as Avast or Antivir - which is free.
If that doesn't work, then try doing a System Restore - if that doesn't work, then do a System Recovery complete re-install - but back up your pictures and documents first as you will lose everything and you'll be starting over again fresh.

Toshiba A205-S4607 Laptop

This may be a problem if your laptop has problems with heat. Being in a cool room with a lot of air-flow should solve this.
Although your laptop may have 'brain-damage' as such. In the respect that if you've dropped the laptop before or it has taken hits etc it may randomly turn it self on, or refuse to boot. If this is the case, there's no real way to deal with it.

Hi

Have a look at your power settings
Start -> settings -> control panel -> power” settings” (don’t remember the English word)
