My 6600 fold is not picking up a signal. Two weeks ago battery seemed to go flat very quickly, have bought a new one but it makes no difference. My husband and I are both on the same service but where he gets a full signal I get one bar if I am lucky or no service at all.

It is possible you are experiencing tuner problems. If you cannot pick up any channels regardless of the antenna used, sounds like tuner problems.

infrared board may have a fault. its in the front part on the board with the buttons. the infrared receiver may be going or gone it looks like a square led. that picks up the signal light from the remote.

honestly I am also stumped I would say try to rewire the system but with a new harness and try turn on the headlights after you have the old harness off and use a volt meter on the battery then the ignition wire and see what it reads. that's all i can think of besides trying a new deck. But honestly this is the first time I have ever heard of this problem and thats all i can think of.
