HOW DO I FLASH MY VERIZON MOTOROLA 1028 TO BOOST MOBILE ?

Kelly-

Even if you did it wouldn't work as a Verizon Moto G serial number doesn't have permission to be on Boost/Sprint network.

How do I flash my phone from Verizon to Boost Mobile?

Boost/Sprint only allows certain devices on their network. You can't simply flash your phone and activate it because your Verizon Serial number won't be in Sprint/Boost's database.

How can a person flash a boost mobile to cricket nd full instructions

Don't think you can, boost mobile uses sprint CDMA network. And cricket uses at&t gsm network, they aren't compatible. I think cricket used to be CDMA, then at&t took over.

Will a boost mobile Sim card work in a straight talk phone

No as boost is a CDMA network (piggybacking sprint) and straight talk is gsm (I believe T-Mobile) also the card for boost isn't an actual sim card...

I have a Kyocera torque through Sprint, I no longer have the Sprint service and want to turn phone on through metro pcs....does anyone know if I can do that

As far as i know the answer is no. Metro runs on t mobile network, t mobile needs a removable sim card. Sprint and their phones does not work like that. You have to get a new phone with metro. The only phone companies that are compatible with metro, are t mobile, att&t, and I think cricket. You could try boost mobile, if I'm not mistaken ya they run on sprints network.

CAN I USE MY SPRINT BLACKBERRY CURVE 8330 WITH BOOST MOBILE

Possibly since Boost & Sprint are CDMA carriers (AT&T & T-Mobile are GSM carriers), but it may need to be reprogrammed by Boost in order to work. Most times, you need to hack into the phone to unlock it.

Will my phone work

Above is incorrect. Boost uses two different networks each is different technology. The one using SIM cards is the IDEN network (Nextel). The other is Sprint (who owns Boost) and that does not take a SIM, it's a CDMA network. All Sprint phones can work on this network, but you must get Boost to activate the phone. They won't do this unless you are already a customer and tell them you are replacing a broken phone, then give the Sprint phone ESN# (under battery) for them to log in your account. If you have a Sprint LG Rumor it will then work without unlocking or flashing, no changes necessary.

I want to unlock my sprint/nextel ic902 phone so my boost mobile simcard will work in it?

>Expert
>>Motorola Phones
>>>Boost Mobile

I activate phones for Boost Mobile.

I'm sorry to tell you, but an ic902 can never be unlocked to work properly on any other system - to include the Boost system. Here's why. The ic902 is a hybrid phone. That is, it uses two different cellular systems to operate. Specifically, voice calls on the ic902 are placed over the Sprint CDMA network and Push-to-Talk (PTT) calls are transmitted over Nextel's iDEN network.

Boost Mobile calling (both, voice and PTT) uses the iDEN network from Nextel. Thus, the ic902's radio transmitter (which is CDMA) cannot make calls on the Boost ( iDEN ) system.

Moreover, if you plan to use Boost Mobile, I STRONGLY suggest that you NOT purchase a Nextel phone and have it unlocked to use for Boost.

Although Nextel and Boost phones seem the same - they are not. If you look at the model number of Nextel phones most of them end in a zero. (ie., i850, i870 etc.) where Boost Mobile Phones end with the number five. (ie., i855, i875, etc.) This is because the transmitters in the phones are set to different frequencies for different purposes (like for texting.)

If you go to eBay for example, those who sell unlocked Nextel phones to use for Boost (if they're honest) will inform potential buyers in their eBay listings that their unlocked Nextel phone will not (text, for example) on the Boost network. These unlocked Nextel phones will have limitations when used on Boost.

To prevent problems down the road, ALWAYS purchase a Boost phone to use on the Boost network.
