Yes its possible. A simple sim card swap should do the trick, but be warned different models may have different sim card styles. If it is just call your Metro PCS and order a new sim card. Most of the time they are free or only a few dollars.

Metroflashing is for VOICE service only, and Verizon's software is not designed for use on Metro's network. In other words, if you don't know how to get into the phone's programming, you cannot set up this phone's user name and password to get on to Metro's data services using the handset. You can, however, use the phone as a dial-up modem for your PC.
Once Metro can come up with a way to access the user name and password of the phone's software, they will then let you get data services (e.g. picture messaging, internet, etc...) on your phone.
you cant unlock sprint phones. Called them and they said its impossible because they have their sim cards built right in to their phones so the only thing you can do is have them transferred to another persons sprint account. its bulls***
