Paper Jammed can be found inside the toner cartridge compartment.

It can also be found in the paper feeder.

It can also be found at the back of the printer (if it can be accessible or can be open).

It can also found in the toner cartridge itself.

Check this areas to find for a paper jammed.

If it is stuck in the back and you can see it, how can it be removed? Do I need to unscrew the back and take it off to remove it? I have a HP LaserJet 1200 series.

Hp laserjet 1200 stops printing but stays on

If your HP LaserJet 1200 printer is experiencing intermittent printing issues, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:
1. Check for paper jams: Even if you don't see any visible paper jams, it's worth opening up the printer and checking for any small bits of paper or debris that might be causing a partial blockage. Use a flashlight to examine the paper path thoroughly.
2. Clean the paper path: Over time, dust and debris can accumulate in the paper path, leading to printing problems. You can use compressed air or a soft, lint-free cloth to gently clean the rollers and other accessible parts of the paper path.
3. Verify printer drivers: Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. Outdated or incompatible drivers can cause printing issues. Visit the HP website and download the latest drivers specifically for the HP LaserJet 1200 printer model.
4. Reset the printer: Perform a power cycle by turning off the printer, unplugging it from the power source, and waiting for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on again. This process can help clear any temporary glitches or errors.
5. Adjust printer settings: Check the print settings on your computer and ensure they are appropriate for the print job. Make sure you have selected the correct paper size, paper type, and print quality settings.
6. Update printer firmware: Visit the HP support website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model. Updating the firmware can address known issues and improve the printer's performance.
7. Check for hardware issues: If the problem persists, there might be a hardware issue with the printer. Consider contacting HP support or a printer technician to diagnose and repair the printer.
Remember to consult the printer's user manual for specific instructions on maintenance and troubleshooting.

Paper jam error code 13.01.00 hp 3505n printer

Turn the printer around and lift the flap behind the paper tray. If you have a flashlight, get it. You want to watch the action of the paper pickup roller. By observing to see if it is rotating, slipping on the paper or whatever, you should be able to determine why the paper isn't feeding. A lot of times, it is as simple as the paper backstop has slid back and the roller can't grab the paper that is 2 inches out of reach. Since you've replaced the tray and paper, I would think you might have noticed that. Is the paper moving out of the tray at all?

Jam on roller

I had many jams using a Kodak printer, but lately I've been fanning the paper, which they may have told me to do, but I didn't know how to do it. Here is a step by step way to do it. Take the stack of paper you plan on using in your printer & straighten it by taking it by each side & tapping it on a surface (like a desk top). Bend the stack of paper as if going to fold it in half. On one side, the stack is fanned out. Grab the paper on the long sides with both hands & slide it into the printer tray. Go ahead & print, I've had fewer jams since loading my paper this way. Give it a try, see if it works for you!!!

I have a HP LaserJet 1312nfi that is giving me a FALSE paper jam message. I repeat - FALSE PAPER JAM IN BACK DOOR. False false false. I have uninstalled it on my computer and nothing. I have opened it...

Hello Chris! Welcome to FixYa!

If you are facing False Paper Jam error in your HP Laser Jet 1312nfi but If you cant see any obvious paper jams, try to look closely into the rollers or the inside. There could be some tiny paper shreds stuck within those rollers. Or there could be a tiny piece of paper blocking the printer's sensor and thus giving you a false paper jam error.
The rollers should be cleaned if the paper fails to feed smoothly into the unit. All document and media rollers should be cleaned using a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with water.

1. Turn Off the printer and unplugged power before cleaning the rollers. This will allow the rollers to be turned by hand in most cases.
2. Remove the rear access door to access the rollers. Clean any dust and debris from the rollers.
3. Open the back of the printer and check metal paper rollers (not the rubber rollers) in the interior of the printer. They should be clean and move freely. If these are not bright and shinny or have buildup on them, they should be cleaned. Also clean any dust and debris off of the rubber rollers.
4. Close the back cover and reattach the rear access door.
5. Plug the power cord back in and power the unit up. It should reinitialize for about 20 seconds.
6. Print another extended self-test page.
After following these steps carefully, False Error message will be disappeared.
I hope this solution helps you
Let me know if you have any confusion in your mind.

HP LaserJet wont pick up paper

Try cleaning the feed roller. It may have debris on it, making it slip. Use alcohol on a lint free cloth. Often you'll see on the paper where the roller slipped on the paper. There may be a dark smudge where the roller slipped. Check it out.
