The PE or pressure sensor error or fault code indicates that the machine is overfilling with water. This washer is equipped with a water level pressure switch. As the machine fills, the pressure increases on the switch, at the set pressure, the switch cuts power to the water inlet valve and the water stops flowing into the washer. If the pressure switch fails to sense properly, or the water inlet valve fails to shut off the unit can overfill. This situation can also be caused if the machine does not drain properly. First, check to see if water ever enters the machine when it is turned off. If so, replace the water inlet valve. Next, check the drain line to be sure it's not clogged or kinked. Next, check to see if the drain pump is working properly and removing the water from the previous cycle. If all of those check out, you may need to replace the pressure switch.

PE error relates to the fill level of the washing machine. The fill level sensor is a pressure operated device. There is a sealed air line that goes from the bottom of the tub to an air pressure sensor. As the tub fills, it compresses the air in this air pressure sensor. When the tub is filled to the level selected on the dial, the sensor stops the fill cycle.

This air line can be plugged or the sensor itself can be faulty. This air pressure sensor is usually located near the top of the tub just under the top cover.

Hi. This could be anything from a faulty horn button, or a faulty indicator switch, or slight corrosion on the circuit board, or the machine has developed a fault, and the peeping is the fault code. Are the peeps always in the same pattern? Do they sound the same as indicator peeps, and at the same speed as the indicator peeps.
Sometimes a small squirt of CRC or WD40 in the switches for horn and/or indicators will help.

The PE error code indicates that the machine has a water pressure sensing error. Check and clean the filters on both sides of the inlet water line. Good luck!
