Just purchased a toro zero turn mower at garage sale. Ran very well first couple weeks. I was running it the other day, shut it down, jumped back on 10 mins later, mower does not start.

You'll need to check all the safety switches. Probably one in the seat, one for the mower engaged, one for clutch/parking brake engaged, possibly one for reverse gear selected, and possibly for position of the steering arms.

The engine cut out then right away was running again then 20-30 seconds later completly cut out again. After a few minutes it started again and ran for another two days. Then it cut out again, ran for...

- When was the last time this car had a tune-up? Could be as simple as that. New spark plugs/rotor/distributor cap/condenser might do the trick.

Other causes could be:
- bad fuel pump relay (definitely first on the list of things to check, and cheapest to fix)
- clogged/old fuel filter
- bad fuel pump

I have a brand new 45cc Homelight 18" saw. Statred up great and cut good for about 20 minutes. Stopped and would not restart. Tried i hour later ran for 5 minutes and stopped. any ideas?

Try loosening the fuel cap to see if the tank is vacuum locking. If so, the tank vent may be plugged (it's under the starter cover and appears to be a bronze disc set into the tank). If this doesn't help, the engine may be overheating due to a lean mixture. Does the engine 4-stroke at speed when not cutting, but immediately 2-stroke when cutting? Being brand new, take the saw back to where you bought it and get them to exchange the saw for another or have this one repaired under warranty. Hope this helps!

I have toro 6.5 super/recycler that stalls out after about 5-10 minutes after it starts up then it will not start for about 30 mins. i've changed the spark plug and cleaned the filter

Dont know if this is the same problem but it may help. I've recently bought a used Toro 6.5 recycler and have cut the lawn 3 times with it. This third time it began to stall out on me. If I hit the primer button several times it would start up but then die again. I thought I'd have to pull the carb and clean it, ut after looking at a few problem listings online I realized it was probably just some trash in the needle valve. I managed to get it running again by first pushing the primer pump 3-5 times, then pulling the cord to crank it, then while holding the contact bar in place with one hand to keep it running I reached down and pumped the prime button a few times before it cut out again- after one or two tries it apparently flushed the trash out and it ran fine again. Had the same problem later and fixed it the exact same way, then went on to finish the yard.

1991 Camaro RS v-6 will start but dies almost immediately

Keep it simple and replace the fuel filter first, if thr fiiler has not been replaced within 30,000 miles or 1 year. Then it's a good chance that it's going to be the fuel filter.
