To-date, is there still no update to unlock the bootloader of an HTC Wildfire A3333, upgraded from Android 2.1 to the Official HTC Froyo? The only thing I'm seeing as the issue to being able to maximize the phone's capabilities is finding a way to switch the phone's "S-On" to "S-Off". Is there currently no easier way to do this than using an XTC clip? Your advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks much in advance!

You can update HTC Wildfire to version 2.2 directly on your phone. Go to Settings and then About phone and there should be a Software Update. It will download the new update and it will reboot and install the Android 2.2 Froyo update.
Note: Although the software is FREE, checking and downloading phone software updates may incur additional data transfer fees from your mobile operator.
Hi, In order for you to transfer your applications into your memory card, your phone needs to be upgraded from an Android 2.1 version (Eclair) into Android version 2.2 (Froyo). The Froyo version incorporates the installation of apps into the memory card, among other things. As far as I know, there is no official update yet for your phone to be upgraded to Froyo but Samsung assured that there will be one very soon. The update should be in the Kies software that you use for your phone to sync with your computer. Just let the software check for any updates via internet connection. In any case, do check android forums to get updates and tips regarding this topic. One such forum is this link: http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-europa-5/249130-froyo-update-samsung-i5500.html
