Hi

Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. Check the drain hose for any visible clogging, remove if present. If no visible lint is present then remove then turn off the dishwasher and remove the drain hose and check for any visible clogging. If it's still not visible then the drain filter or drain pump is clogged and you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller. Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

Water standing in tub

If there is a lot of water sitting inside the applicance, it's possible that the high water float switch has been activated and is preventing the dishwasher from running. Open the door, remove the bottom rack, dip as much water out of the bottom as possible with a shallow ladle or even tupperware container. When that is accomplished, shut the door and try to run a drain cycle. If the unit won't start, you may have to remove more water. You don't have to have the rack in place to run the drain cycle.

Moved into home and dishwasher runs threw the cycles...does not spray water on dishes water sitting in the bottom?? Something blocked or not connected?

check if there is water at the bottom of tub when it's going through the cycle. If there isn't, i'd suspect a burnt out water valve

Following the wash cycle with my Miele G464SC

sounds like you mean when the unit is running you are getting water dripping from the bottom of the door panel. if you remove the door panel at the bottom where the door hinges you will find an overflow tray which runs the width of the door. This is probably blocked with food deposits.

If not you may be using too much detergent. try running with no detergent and see if there are any leaks.if you open the door mid cycle the water level shouldn't be any higher than the bottom spray arm. hope this helps

Door locked and will not open. i ran an empty cycle to see if that would work and it doesn't.....thanks! Margit

IF water is left in machine then door wont unlock, check pump, run drain cycle. If pump runs but doesnt remove water, then check filter at bottom (small door on bottom front) water will come out when this is done. If washer is completely empty of water and door locked then you may access lock release tab from bottom or reaching down from top to lock asm. Then check lock

Bosch dishwasher fills with water after cycle is completed

Sounds like you need a new water inlet valve. It's not shutting off completely, so water slowly enters the machine even while it isn't running.

Water left in bottom of dishwasher after cleaning

I suggest checking the drain and screen. There is most likely a little clog in there. If there is even the slightest amount of clog, the washer will not finish the drain cycle.
