The foam surround on my subs are cracked and torn. I need them repaired. Would it be more ideal to buy new subs or get these w7's repaired?

wow i won't throw them away or anything like that. You can always go down to your local JL Audio dealer to see how much to refoam the subs. Lot cheaper then buy new ones..... That's the way i would go.. Hope this was helpfull

Jl audio 10w6 x zapco350

These subwoofers are dual 4 ohm voicecoils.

Parallel wiring the 2 voicecoils would net a 2 ohm mono load.

Connect both + on the sub to the + on the amp.
Connect both - on the sub to the - on the amp.

Many professionals simply jumper the 2 + and 2- on the sub.... then run 1 set of wires from one of the terminals to the amplifier.

no repair kits available will work on any spl sub. JL will fix the sub for about 410$ plus shipping or i can sell you a new sub with warranty (JL factory direct replacement) for about $ 475 shipped

Sticky Situation

you have to send it to JL to have them replace the whole voice coil, surround and motor structure assembly. I can sell you a new sub with full JL factory warranty for about 475$ shipped to your door straight from their warehouse.

I would say since your amp is a mono, wire the 3 subs in series in the box,, with only two leads going to the amp
