My duet front load washer is licking water in front left side have any idea and how do u take off the bottom front cover

usually this is because the filter in the bottom front needs to be cleaned out look to the front bottom left is there a plastic cover you can remove? if not you must remove the front of the unit and clean the clogged drain filter

You need to replace your washers fill valve. Its not sealing closed.

look down the front right hand side take the bottom across panekl and you should see a plug un do it

I just fixed this take out the 3 screws out at the floor and pull off the front cover and unscrew the cap to the strainer and clean out ..this takes about15 minutes total..heres the book the trap is in the pic on the lower right

take off bottom panel of washer. unscrew front plug to drain pump. clean out

Saw in my local newspaper... Whirlpool won't tell you to maintain by unplugging the machine and removing the front bottom cover of washer (3 screws) ...you will see a valve cover in the center right in front of you....Get towels ready to soak up the water that will spill out when you open this. Remove it and clean the plastic filter and any debris you might see inside then put back together. It worked and wasn't hard to do but now I have other issues with the machine errors and such....I think I'll go back to the old washers minus the electronics.

YOU MUST CHANGE A HOSE FROM DETERGENT CUP AND DRUM.

The water fill selenoid had junk in it holding the valve open or the seat in the valve is damaged.
Turn off the power and water, remove two screws on the back of the machine and remove the lid.
On the back left top corner are the water fill selenoids. Remove these and disassemble by undoing the 6 or 8 screws ( depending upon model ) holding the unit together. Clean and reassemble, it should take care of the problem. If not, replace the selenoid.

you can remve the lower acess panel (3 screws along teh bottome front panel) too look to see where it coming from. the top also removes with 3 screws along the top of back panel
