The machine is half way through a full memory clear. You may have a low battery (plug in to re-charge for 12 hours with key on REG) or this machine may not have been set up by a dealer when sold. Firstly, try a flag clear:
Turn key to PROGRAM mode. Turn power off at wall. Hold RECEIPT FEED down - keep your finger on it. Turn power on at wall. Wait 5 seconds, then let go of RECEIPT FEED. You should see "FFFFFFFFFF" on display. Press SUBTOTAL. Wait for print out. Turn key back to REG mode Sign on with a clerk (or you will get error 8) Try the making a sale.
If it still has trouble, you will need to fully re-program it. C-tech has the manual you'll need here: http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_TK-6000_TK-6500_TK-7000_TK-7500_TK-T500_CE-6000_etc_dealer_manual.html

Have a brand new TE-2200. The machine hung up in the middle of programming and would not allow a reset. I unplugged it from the wall and removed the backup batteries in an attempt to reboot. After...

Firstly, try this:
Turn key to PROGRAM mode Turn power off at wall Hold RECEIPT FEED down - keep holding it Turn power on at wall. Wait 10 seconds Let go of receipt feed. Press SUBTOTAL once
If display does not come on,
Turn power off at wall Turn key to REG mode Take one battery out. Wait at least an hour. Turn power back on at wall (you will now need to fully reprogram it at this stage)
If it is still dead, let me know

I have casio ce-3700 cash register and i have problem E04 and noies come beep any one help me plz.

This is caused by incomplete initialisation. it means the program may be corrupt from being unplugged for too long, or you may have a bad battery inside the machine (change it every five years).
Firstly, try a flag clear to jump it back to REG mode:
Turn power off at wall Turn key to program position Hold down RECEIPT FEED button. Keep your finger on it. Turn power on at wall Wait 5 seconds, then let go of RECEIPT FEED Press SUBTOTAL
Turn key back to REG mode and try it. If the programming is corrupt, you will often see the decimal point in the wrong place.
If you want to re-program it, there is a manual for the CE-3700 here:
http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/TOC/cashregisters/Casio/CE-3700%20operators%20and%20programming.TOC.pdf

Hi. You have turned the key before you finished what you were doing in another mode. A flag clear will jump you back to reg mode. Try this:

Turn power off at wall.
Turn key to program mode.
Hold RECEIPT FEED button down.
Turn power on at wall and let go of RECEIPT FEED after 5 seconds.
You should see 'FFFFFFF' on display
Press SUBTOTAL
Turn key back to reg mode and try it.

Casio CE-3700 lockup

Hi,
It sounds like you have a flat, or faulty backup battery. The machine has probably lost all programming. This is common if the machine has been stored.

Try this:

Turn key to program.
Turn power off at wall.
Hold JOURNAL FEED.
Turn power on at wall.
When you see '000000000' or 'LLLLLLLLLL' type 21151 (for Europe), or type 12300 (for USA) then press SUBTOTAL

If you still have trouble, just let me know.

Casio CE 2350

Hi.
It depends what is causing the lockup.
If you don't have anything on the display, then it is probably a printer jam. If you have anything at all on the display, then you can try a flag clear:

Turn the power off at the wall.
Turn the key to Program mode.
Hold down RECEIPT FEED button while turning on at the wall.
Wait 5 seconds
Let go of RECEIPT FEED
You should see 'FFFFFFFFF' on the display.
Press SUBTOTAL
Turn the key back to Reg mode, and try it. You might have to log on to the machine if you normally use logon codes.

Hi. I would advise both of you to try a flag clear first to see if you have any program left.

Turn key to program. Power off at wall.
Hold RECEIPT FEED, and turn power on at wall.
Wait 10 seconds, then let go of RECEIPT FEED.
When you see 'FFFFFFFFF' press SUBTOTAL.
Turn key back to REG and try it.

If you still need help, let me know.
