I have a 42" Mitsubishi HDTV that needs a 125v 5a pico fuse. Having trouble locating a local store in the DFW area to get parts. Does anyone know a source to get these parts?

First is consider what the issue is: nothing moves convergence wise or only one color etc.
Also follow if needed the voltages from the pico fuses involved---one will be a negative voltage and the other a positive one--follow them from the diodes for each voltage to the chips---"Got Voltages?"
one fuse is located directly where the power board goes--set has as many as 6 other fuses inside in different areas--they are pico fuses which means not glass or fuse like in appearance.
The fuses may not be your problem--I have fixed several of these---The large power board is on the right side as you look from the back?
Lots of these sets develop bad solder connections on that board--several sites on the internet offer to have you remove and send them the board to resolder--this set used lead free solder and after some years has problems--a few I have opened had clearly broken solder joints--I usually in this case remove the board(mark all the many plugs and make a diagram) and solder almost all of it by hand----usually fixes this kind of trouble.

Issues where water has been splashed onto the board can cause so many weard issues, it is easyer to replace the board then try to replace the individual parts. You need to do allot of troublshooting that will requrie schematic and a good knowlage of that board. try to get your board from pts, http://www.moduslinkptstvboards.com/
Its the power pack on the system board. It has a short in it and causes the fuses to blow.....if your farmilar with replacing it you can order the part though the manufacturer.
Well without the schematic, knowing Toshiba they have alot of convergence problems, so see if the fuse blown in the convergence area, if you you may have to replace convergence amps. These are the big STK's. Most of the time there was a color problem with set before going out. If no problem with this on your set then look in the HV area Hor. and Ver. area. Hope this helps!
Thank you, great source for parts.
