Recived my mp3 as a gift all i want is to be able to print out the how to manuel. i have all these great fetures but don't know how to down load or use. i'm from the type writer generation. please help you older customers

The Walkman User Guide is an on-line guide and can be accessed on-line via Internet. You can select the page which you want to print out and then select the PRINT option at the top of the page. Please view the Figure below: The option to transfer the files are mentioned clearly in the manual. You can also save the online manual on the Computer from the Walkman Player when connected to the Computer. Transferring the files to the Player is very easy using the Content Transfer Software supplied, Windows Media Player or by copying and pasting the songs to the Player's Removable Drive.

Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine thetype of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI andWMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is anincompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to aformat that your MP3 player uses. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

Open the musicfolder and create a new folder on the player exactly the same way you create afolder on your computer's hard drive. To organise your music, make a foldername with the name of the music album and place the album's MP3 files in thisfolder.
You will then be able to select the music you want to play by the music albumfolder.
