Hold the v-scan buton on front panel and you will see the menu for changing the progressive to rgb..

On my Samsung SR150m the button is behind the front face panel and is titled "P Scan". Hold it down for 5 secs or until "PSO" disappears. Then do a search for your input and it should work. You could always take a hammer to it :)

The PSO on the front display has to do with your screen resolution of your tv. I have no idea where my book to my tv is to determine the resolution. I held down the rewind and fast forward buttons at the same time and it disappeared. Clicked on the Menu and checked the resolution again it automatically set it to 480p. I had it on 1080i.

Hi guys,

I did it myself, the problem is pure mechanical!
Open cover plate, look behind where the push button of PSO is
located. You see the PSO push-button sort of level-arm somehow sticked to the rubbermatting where the circuit on-off is
located!!
In fact I lodged for advice to Samsung techsup weeks ago, but up to this moment no reply!

I accidently changed the language now its in dutch i think

Hi,

Troubleshooting steps to be Followed

Setting the front panel language on the HP PSC 2200 series To set the language and region, follow the steps below:
  1. On the all-in-one front panel, press the Setup button five times, and then press Enter to access the Maintenance settings.
  2. Press the number 5 on the front panel numeric keypad, and then press Enter to access the Language and Region settings.
  3. The available languages will appear in the display. Press the Right Arrow (>) button to scroll through the available languages. Enter the two-digit code for the desired language based on what is listed in the display (example - 11 for English, 12 for Spanish, and etc.).
  4. Confirm the selection by pressing the number 1 on the numeric keypad of the all-in-one. Press 2 to cancel the language and try again.
  5. The available regions will appear in the display. Press the Right Arrow (>) button to scroll through the available regions. Enter the two-digit code for the desired region based on what is listed in the display.
  6. Confirm the selection by pressing the number 1 on the numeric keypad of the all-in-one. Press 2 to cancel the region and try again.
The front panel language does not set correctly There can be a problem if the front panel cover (bezel) is not installed correctly. If the language cannot be set or is still wrong, do the following:
  1. If the software has not been installed, install it.
  2. Remove the control panel bezel. This may require the use of a coin or small screwdriver to carefully pry up the cover from the back (near the display).
  3. Reinstall the front panel bezel as shown in Figure 1. Be sure the bezel is firmly seated and that all of the buttons can move freely. Figure 1: Installing the front panel bezel c00224430.jpg
  4. Set the front panel language following the steps above.

DVD player wont show picture

to turn it off select connection method 3 above and progressive scanning mode, to set the mode, set progressive to off in the display menu so that the p scan indicator light on the front panel goes out. do all of this in interface mode. you can also do this by pressing and holding PLAY > on the front of the unit for more than 5 seconds, still watch for the p scan indicator to go off. this works best when the unit is connected directly to the television.
