Try installing the latest WEBcam driver. You can download the WEBcam and device drivers from the Compaq/HP WEBsupport/download page. Make sure you select your model laptop and the Windowsdrivers you require and install them. Click on this link to download thedrivers: - http://welcome.hp.com/country/au/en/cs/support.html
if it is not working, please goto acer laptop site http://www.acer.co.in/ac/en/IN/content/drivers
and select your laptop model and download the WEb cam DRIVER and install. It will work.
Please download the file amcap920.zip from http://www.download25.com/install/amcap.html and install the setup.exe. It will create "amcap" in programs. click the amcap. you can see the video from cam.

if you dont have one already, you need to download a program from YAHOO, MSN, SKYPE, or any other video direct program that allows you to communicate using the webcam. if you need to know how to adjust and operate the webcam, see link below
If your laptop has a DVD drive, then it will also read from CDs. If that doesn't work, you might be able to download the drivers somewhere. You can search for "(camera model) drivers" on google.com.
