I have a 4 cycle gasoline trimmer model tb 425cs. I was cutting rather high grass, and it kept tangling around the curver shaft until the whole string assemble broke apar I believe I need all the parts from the cutting shield to the cutting attachment

Remove the cutting head spool and see if you have old grass stuck around the shaft area that could be causing to cease your shaft..

I own a Troy-Bilt 425cs string trimmer with multiple add-on attachments. The unit works fine for string trimming, brush cutting, and cultivating. However, it will not properly power my edger attachment. ...

The power edger attatchment may have a slightly different coupling size on it than the other attatchments. Also, do a good inspection of the power head unit's coupling at the EZ LINK connector. Maybe the head unit connector is getting hot over time, due to a lack of lube, and expanding internally, causing slippage in the connection to the edger attatchment. Inspect all that you can.

Trimmer starts but hardly rotates when giving it gas.

Check for a tangle of grass or wire just above the string head where it attatches to the shaft. A buildup in that area can interfere with the movement of the head.

The head of the trimmer will not turn. What could be common issues as a result?

Sometimes, strands of long grass wrapped around the shaft above the string head impede movement. On a more serious note, the driveshaft could be broken, or the clutch assembly could have malfunctioned. Disassembly will be required if tangled up grass above the head is NOT the problem.You can get help here to do the disassembly and repairs here, just ask!

My craftsman 32 cc 2 cycle line trimmer doesn't

Check the line head and cable, there may be grass or something like twine twisted between the shaft and housing. If nothing is found there take the spark plug out and see if it will turn over, possibly liquid gasoline has gotten into the cylinder somehow.
