Can i get a diagram of the lower deck for the belts of a 42" riding troy bilt riding lawn mower? the middle blades arent cutting

sounds like wrong belt you raise it belts tighter lower belts looser or the tensioner has come loose

sounds like you missed a pulley or belt guide and the belt fell off

There is a spring attached to a tensioner that probably came unhooked while changing the belt. Higher deck settings push the deck backwards enough to spin the blades, the lower setting need the spring tensioner to take up the slack in the belt.

Lowes or Menards sell troybuilt they may be able too hook you right up.

You will find the diagram on the left side of the deck as you sit on tractor by left foot. It will be located under the foot pedal that has the routing diagram specifically for your Troy-Bilt mower model. Note that owner's manuals may not have the most current schematic.

sounds like spring tension on top of deck is connected to a bolt post,mine broke and went missing with the spring,blades kept slipping,didnt know how to tighten belt,go figure

We I disengage the blade belt always comes off its to loose I have had the number checked they say its the right belt but its so sloppy
