DD603HSS Hi from France. i'm the owner of F&P dishdrawer DD603HSS for 5 years and half. (New Zealand made) yesterday, the top drawer looks with no power, no lcd , nothing. like no power alimentation. as you know, for a 5&1/2 years appliance, there is no more warranty... have you any idea for the cause of this trouble. is there a fuse and the location of this one ? i know each drawer is autonomous, then i suppose each drawer is protected by a fuse. - i precise "The bottom drawer works fine".

There is only one power supply or input so you need to find out where the power stops from the bottom to the top drawer

Faulty top drawer on fp dishdraw can I disconnect powet to top unit to disable it

Unfortunately the power is distributed from the inside to the two drawers.
You will have to address the cause of the problem in the top drawer.
If you are good at electric repairs you could disconnect the power from the dishwasher power board itself, but this is not for the faint hearted (no offence). Might be helpful if you can provide a little details about the problem with top drawer. Generally if you are getting F1 message on the panel on bottom drawer and top drawer display is blank (ie no power), then the power board at the base of dishwasher is blown and needs to be replaced. Please clarify model number as the one you provided is for single drawer unit. Make sure the mains power is turned off when you work inside the diswasher.

Fisher and Paykel dishdrawer, lid not retracting, no power.

By no power you may be implying there is no display etc and the swithces are not working. Most likely the controller of the top drawer has had it. The controller is mounted on the front of the drawer behind the door panel. Hope things are better than that.

Top Drawer light is out-display eratic powers on and off at will.

Hi,
Below is the service manual link and a web site that I found. refer to the lower section where a person writes in that the fixed the flooding with a hairdryer. I hope this helps, they seem like fantastic dishwashers.

Leaking from top dishdrawer when closed

I realize this is an old question but for anyone else looking for an answer to this - yes, this can be owner rectified if you don't mind a bit of fiddly work in confined space. I fixed the lid on my to drawer about a year ago and works fine so far. I can't remember exactly now but what i did was to remove the drawer to access the comparment and exposed the plastic actuator mechanisms which lower the lid. If i remember correctly it was the little motors which operate the actuators that needed servicing, cleaning if i recall. What i suspect is that once a flooding condition occurs as a result of a protruding object blocking the closing of the lid the motors get dirty and stop working thus perpetuating the problem.
ps. the trick to removing the drawer is to push in the plastic clips which secure the sliding rails
