Hi. If you have lost your booklet where the registration code is available you can still get the game on EA download manager. If you are able to register your game in EA you just have to sign in to your account then download the game. I hope this solves your problem.

go to the application> show package content> content>
resources> transgaming> c-drive> program files> electronic
arts> the sims 3> game> Bin> Then open Default.ini with text
edit. Scroll all the way down to the bottom where it says GameVersion =
1.8.25.003001 change the end one to 2 or whatever works for you like
this GameVersion = 1.8.25.003002 then close and save. And that's it.
I got this off another site, tried it, and it works! I changed the number to 7, because somebody told me thats a universal number, but it worked for me in Canada. Good luck.
