Try this URL for your Audio drivers:
http://www.download.com/
Is your platform Windows XP,are you using M/S Office 2003?
If yes, then download new Realtek AC '97 Audio drivers from the above site.
If you have a Motherboard CD,re-install Audio drivers.
SOURCE: No audio
Just go to the Manufacturers website. Look at the MOBO and see if it has a brand name and a model number. try googling it.
Once you get past the hurdle of finding out eh model number, look for the Mobo chipset drivers or just the audio drivers by themself. Install them and see if it works.
Also check, it could be simple. That nothings muted, you have everything connected right as far as speakers and what not. Play a sound file while switching out the speaker Jacks and playing with the volume controls.
You can try the windows update and if your lucky they may have some updated driver for it that you dont have installed.
If it worked before then it should work now, Do you have the Original installtion CD for the MotherBoard?
If so, run it and install all the drivers again to be sure.
Good luck.
have you tried this control panel sounds and
audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop
down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to
expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device
(enable) also you might check

try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a
