M-Audio Conective Hi there my stuff isnt workin ive installed everything but when i click on the torq icon to open it it says "please attach your m-audio hardware and launch torq again" ive tried everything and it still comes with that message. Is it because i have vista? or is it something else? I would greatly appreciate a hand. Cheers My email is [email protected]

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound,video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers or uninstall
click start control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand,system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer
make sure you have an earth ******** before touching any parts inside your computer

try to reinstall the driver from your driver disk which provided when purchased
or download the latest driver corresponding to your model

Try to configure your audio settings. Usually on the bottom right of your PC there is a sound icon. Click on it and configure your mic volume.

my advice would be to back up your library and format the ipod.

(With iTunes up) plug in ipod and wait for it to connect. once its connected, click on your ipod on the left, on the bottom of itunes it should say something like (restore ipod) that's what you want, click that and leave it be and the ipod should be back to normal. if not then you would have to take it into an apple store. There, they can assist your further.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by deleted sound.  I'll run some questions by you to clarify.
Have you: -checked to see that all of your speaker cables are plugged in correctly and that your speakers are functioning properly -have you checked to see that everything is turned on and has power running to it -are you running XP/Vista/Linux/OSx? -have you recently installed any audio codecs or soundcard drivers? -if you go to your startbar, and look at the speaker icon in the bottom right corner, right click and select open volume controls, check to see if anything is muted or has the volume down

Normal 0 Web Camera’s have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.
Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function properly.

A. Skype Setup:

After downloading and installing Skype (http://www.skype.com/intl/en-gb/download/skype/windows/beta/downloading/ ) set it up as follows:

1. Go to Tools, then Options, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
2. Then click on the Video Settings.
3. The camera if Installed Properly will come up and show a video picture.
4. Then, on the bottom of the page click on Save.

The camera and audio should function properly. Your friends and Family will now be able to see and her to you.

B. Yahoo Setup:

After downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger (http://www.soft32.com/download_30.html ) set it up as follows:

1. Go to Messenger at the top left and click on it.
2. Next go down to Preferences and click on it.
3. Next Calling and Devices on the right and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
4. Next go to the Test Audio section and (in blue writing) click on “Open the call setup assistant” and follow the instructions on the left window.

when ever i open my laopyop it says that no audio devices are installed and i have toshiba-satellite a215-s5837

Hi admak,
Sometimes installing from the software's setup.exe just isn't enough. Please try installing from within the device manager. Here is how to do this.
1. Remember where in you're PC you stored the downloaded drive.
2. If you have My Computer icon on you're desktop. Right click it once & slide to & left click Properties. Click the hardware tab. Than click the device manager button. Scroll down to Sound, audio and game controller. Find the yellow ! point. Right click on it once & left click update. Windows hardware wizard will open.
Click the circle, No not at this time & click Next. Another window will open. Left click once in the circle next to, Install from a list or specific location (Advanced). Than click the next button.
(Click the Browes button). Find the folder you downloaded the driver software in to. Open that folder. Choosing this method allows you to install you're software. Once you click on the correct folder For you're OS, you will notice the OK buton will slightely high light. Click OK & you're driver software should install. Please restart you're PC & test you're sound.
