Problem with Bluetooth And Special button on top & Right (around keyboard)

Solution 1 - Permanent OFF (windows 7)
Go to Start menu > Devices and Printers
Right click on HP Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Kit (yours may have slightly different name)
Left click on Region and Language
Left click on Change Keyboards button
Under General tab go to > Default Input Language section > select English (Canada)-US
Under General tab, now go to > Installed Services section > Keyboard heading > click on item for Canadian French then click the Remove button on the right,
Repeat step 6 to remove line item Canadian Multilingual Standard
Click Apply button at the bottom of window, then click OK button to get out of the window, click OK to get out of final window
Close your Devices and Printers window and you are done FOREVER with the unwanted characters! :smileyhappy:

Solution 2 - Temporary toggle between special/normal characters
If it's like mine, the default keyboard setting requires you to do the following:
press hold left ctrl+shift, then tap right shift key, this should toggle between the special characters and back to the normal characters when steps are repeated.

Here are steps:
Download the bluetooth driver from acer website
Install it restart your pc
Then press the bluetooth button which is on the top(above function keys)
Then right click on the file you wanna send through bluetooth then send via bluetooth

you will need to connect your bluetooth device with a usb lead then make both your computer and the bluetooth drvice discoverable also you might downoald software

Just go into control panel and under region and language settings and have a look under all the tabs including keyboard and change as necessary........cheers and please vote

1. Open the "Impostazioni" app (Settings in Italian), denoted by the three gears icon.
2. Tap on the "Generali" (General) tab (which shares it's icon with the settings app) to open it.
3. Scroll down and open the "Internazionale" (International) menu.
4. Tap on "Lingua" (Language) and select "English" from the menu.
5. Tap the "Fine" (Done) button.
6. Wait for the iPod to load the new language.

You will also want to disable the Italian keyboard, which can be accomplished as follows:

1. Open the "Settings" app.
2. Tap on the "General" tab to open it.
3. Scroll down and open the "International" menu.
4. Tap on "Keyboards" and tap the "Edit" button in the upper-right corner.
5. Tap the red minus sign next to the "Italian" item, and then tap the red "Delete" button that appears.

Here's how to change languages while the iPod is set to English

I had the same problem.
try to uninstall and reinstall the wireless card driver and reboot system,it should work......let me know if works........bye..

If you want Italian, then the unit will show Italian. If you want it to show English, then you set it up for English. You can't have Italian verbal directions on an English unit.

To change the unit back to English:
Press Wrench.
Press the button with the picture of gears on it.
Press Down arrow.
Choose second menu item from the top.
Press the middle of the 3 boxes on the right.
Press up arrow to find American or British English.

2. Click the Keyboards and Languages tab.
3. Under Display language, choose a language from the list, and then click OK.

Well the Acer site says that it has built-in bluetooth!(Aspire 1690) If you go to device manager (Right click on my computer, click on manage. Under System Tools in the left pane click on device manager) you should see one of the device categories there as Bluetooth, if you don't see it and see a yellow icon that means you might need to install the bluetooth drivers! If you don't either you might need another component(bluetooth hardware) for the bluetooth to work! hope this was helpful regards, babb
