Bad vga board however you can open it up and see if the capactors are blown replacing them may solve this problem however when an LCD monitor goes white typically it is the microchip that has gone bad so I sell the monitor for parts and buy a new one.

I have purchased lcd 14 inch monitor some 4 years back, due to handling the screen broke.now can i replace at your showroom or any other remedy is available.

Not practical to spend money on 14" LCD panel on 4 years old monitor, it will caost more than 19" monitor.
Put the money toward new monitor, I will not even repair it myself if it were my.

White screen

If its your laptop's own screen that's going white its a known issue with the old Presarios and Armada laptops that their graphics boards or connectors wear out and eventually lead to "Whiteouts". Take it to a HP repair centre if possible, they can quote for repair. It might just b be the graphics cable needs reseating in whcih case it would be quite cheap to fix. If you you need a replacement graphics board it will be quite expensive and possibly not economical to repair.

If you mean an external monitor then once you have confirmed its not a loose cable or a pin broken at one end then the monitor itself is probably faulty.

Sylvania (proview) cl2072b flat panel monitor

Well the first and second paragraphs make me say the Inverter/power board must be replaced.

A white display typically means either your display cable (in your monitor) is loose or logic board is dead.

Either one of these things typically mean take it in for an estimate to repair, and if it's too much, buy a new one.
With your luck I think I might switch to big cheap CRT.

Red screen?

If the vga cable nicely connected may be the logic card in the LCD.
