I would recommend checking where the end of the hose attaches to. On
Kenmore vacuums where the end of the hose plugs into the vacuum and to the powerhead there is normally two prongs that plug in to the canister and the power head. It is either one of the ends that is not connecting right especially if you say when the hose is moved. It may also be the cord inside the hose that connects to those prongs might be torn inside the hose or not connecting right to each end.
With a new bag and new filter was installed,the vacuum has good suction but quickly shuts itself off and illuminates the full bag warning light.
