The camera only has a small amount of internal memory, which will fill up quickly. You really do need to get a memory card or two, just as you'd buy film were you shooting a film camera.

SOURCE: camera said memory full but I have memory card

You need to format the SD card before it will be used by the camera. Formatting instructions are in the manual.

SOURCE: A550 Polaroid displays memory full

To get the memory card to work you must first get rid of the pictures stored in the internal memory. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions.

I cannot capture new pictures with my polaroid pdc 2030 digital camera . I get error message FUL when the shutter is depressed .

When you download does it delete the pictures automatically or are all your pictures still on it. It sounds as though the internal memory or memory card is full and you will need to delete some pictures or format the memory after you have downloaded them to your PC.

Im trying to take pictures without the memory card since it says optional however its not working what steps should I take?

Stop trying to do that and get a memory card. Writing to the internal memory is a frustrating experience. It's very small and only allows a few picture before it fills up. Once it's full, you can't use a regular memory card without going through a few steps.

Camera say memory is full but wont let me format.

Sounds like the internal memory has failed.

I would check with Polaroid about repairing it. An alternative would be to try installing a memory card. If it works with a memory card, then the internal chip is definitely the problem.

See if a friend has a camera that uses a similar memory card and just borrow it for a few minutes to test.

Keep saying memory full and I have not used it yet

all cameras have a small internal memory, in your case three pictures, you need a memry card, your manual should tell you which type you need (although for polaroid, i think [but am not sure] thit it will be an SD card) you should probably get a 1-4 gb card, as this will let you take a few hundred photos, before you have to download them onto your computer

Polaroid Camera i634 Memory

I have the same camera and yes, you have to get a memory card for it. Your camera will only let you take 2 pics becuase it has little space by itself. I would recommend the 1 GB memory card. You can store up to 400 pictures on it and it is the cheapest. It is definately worth it. The pictures and video turn up very, very clear. Good luck with it!
