My mad catz headset is not working at all, when i try to connect it the little grey phone bolinks red not blue

Try to charge it on a USB on the PC, If the red light doesn't stay on, meaning it's charging, then you have a faulty headset and you'll have to contact your retailer to ask for a replacement.
Unfortunately this is a know issue with this headsets...

I believe there is a signal conflict of frequencies nearby ,where is it that this happens?

Go into your Phone's settings and make sure Bluetooth is turned on and also make sure that your phone and the Mad Catz Bluetooth are in "discoverable" mode which basically means that the phone will show up to other devices and will also discover the Bluetooth Headset and then you should be able to pair them together.

If this doesn't work, you may want to stop in your nearest cell store and see if one of the reps will help you out. I'm sure they'll either get it working for you or at least guide you in the right direction.

Mad Catz is not licensed by Sony.The package probably said licensed by Mad Catz which means absolutely nothing.You need a Sony brand headset or one 'licensed by Sony'.The off brands cause problems 99% of the time. Good luck and game on!

you have to put headset into pairing mode ...usually by holding power button for a few secs until it flashes blue/red then have the PS3 search and it should find it ..the default password should be 0000 ...check manufact website for full instructions on how to pair if this doesnt help...i would tell you more but would need headset model number

The headset wouldn't connect so we deleted it. Then went back and tried to pair it again. And it wont flash blue and red, just blue.

Be sure the the headset in in 'Pairing' mode.
When in pairing mode, the light should be flashing red and blue or have a steady blue.
The put most headsets in pairing mode, turn headset OFF, then hold the power button until it goes into pairing mode as discribed above. Then you can discover it with your phone or PC. Pin (pass key) should be 0000 (4 Zeros) or try 1111, 1234, 9999
