My washer started beeping and the lights on the right side keep flashing

Hello 2cats - First, is the drain pump making a humming noise? If so, the unit could possibly have a restriction in the drain line. Try setting the cycle to spin only and verify if water pumps out. Other possibilities could be a faulty door lock, timer, pump, or control board not communicating correctly. In this case I would contact a professional to move forward accurately to properly diagnose and repair the washer.

If its the main board that you are having an issue with, honestly i will suggest to get a new one instead, might cost you as much as buying a new one if you are going to have it repaired.

Westinghouse lt608s...I had the same problem that when you pushed start it would just beep and the water level lights would flash...i fixed this by replacing the magnet underneath the lid. To test if this is the problem place a magnet about a third of the way up ion top of the lid on the left hand side and then press start. If it starts then you know the magnet that is supposed to be underneath the lid is either broken and missing or rusty...anyway i hot glued mine (as i do not use hot wash) back under the lid and hey presto it worked fine.

Hi just read your posting.Now you mentioned in your posting that the lights that are on when the machine is beeping are 1and 7.This is on the row of 8 lights and you started from left to right.Is this correct? If it is correct then the fault you have on your machine is called SINGLE ROTOR POSITION SENSOR ERROR.This means that the rotor sensor which is attached to your motor is faulty or your control module is faulty.Please reply with confirmation on the lights that are on when the machine is beeping and I am sure I can help you rectify this fault.Looking forward to your reply.

Hi just read your posting.Now when the machine starts to beep it will show a series of lights.These lights will be in a row of 8 lights.Starting from the left to right which ones are lit when the machine is beeping?Is it the 2nd and 5th or the 4th and 7th ---etc---?Please reply with additional information and I can help you further.

is it a whirlpool washer an f7 is the reg dosage card. This is placed on the right hand side behind the side panel. The card works by counting the revolutions of a water wheel when a certain amount of water has entered the appliance then it will begin washing.

There is a rectangular magnet attached on the inside of the drawer for the detergent. Located on the right hand side near the front of the drawer. This magnet had come loose. Some glue and caulking worked well and the washer is working fine now. Meant to post this weeks ago.

Maybe the machine is telling you that your load is uneven, When going through a spin cycle it will detect if the load is too heavy on one side. Just open the door and spread the load evenly. good luck.

truthfully, i think you have a malfunctioning board.if all parameters are correct and unit is washing while beeping is taking place. represents board.
