Hey! i got a kingston mp4, a kpex100, and it's 2gb! but now, it won't turn on, and won't charge. what should i do? this is my 2nd mp4 and i'm short on cash that's why i'm hesitant to buy another one. what am I supposed to do?
My one was the same, i had removed the back case an found out the my battery was fautly, i just changed with second hand one, a didn;t found the same battery but i used a nokia 6300 one, you cane use battery from nokia 5310, 6131, 5000 and other models.
U can show ur plyr to the person from whom u hv purchased even i was hvng the same prblm but i went to that particular person with the cataloge n askd him to exchange it so even u cn do thesame thng
.,I think i could help you with that.. It happened to my KPEX100 last week.. Here's what you should do..
Remove the silicon Case (if you have put it on),, look into both sides of your mp4 and try to see the small hole in there.. it says "RESET".. don't worry, your files will not be erased.. Get a Pin or anything that fits inside the small hole.. then try to press the pin inside the hole.. you will feel like hitting a small button there.. it will reset your KPEX.. try charging it on your computer or an outlet (if you have a charger for that) or try to connect the USB slot as if transfering files.. As soon as the KPEX started to light up,, its fine then.. =)
