I don't know your watch but as an engineer, I would expect there to be a single position where the crown can be pressed in.

Try applying a gentle pressure to the crown while you are slowly rotating it an you may be able to find a spot where it hits and slight depression, (a soft touch required here). When you find this spot, press the crown firmly and then rotate.

If you still have no luck, try speaking to the supplier to find a local repair center who should be able to give you some knowledgeable advice, as I feel sure that you will not be the first person to have this problem.

Altenatively go to http://www.luminox.com/service/service-centers/ to find the information on service center locations and contact numbers.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not set the date or time between 8 p.m. and 3 a.m. to avoid damage to your Geneva watch. The gears sit too close together during these times.
  • If your Geneva watch becomes wet, wipe it dry as soon as possible. Keep your watch away from saunas and hot tubs, as the extreme heat diminishes the watch's water resistance.

Instruction manual

Tags have a screw down crown (winder knob) turn the knob counter clock-wise until you feel the crown unscrew (not off) then pull the crown carfully. It will pop once this is for date adjust. Then pull once more and you can now adjust the hands, set accordingly then push crown back in. After you push it back in gently compress the crown and tighten clockwise until it stops. CAUTION!!!!!!! Tags are not waterproof if the crown is not screwed back down. I hope this helps .

How to set the date in sector sge 650 2653960035 watch? Thanks.

Unscrew crown. Some models of Sector Sport watches may have a screw down crown. Watches meant to be used in water will often have this feature. To test this try spinning the crown freely in both directions. If it does not spin freely it has a screw down crown. If your Sector has a screw-down crown, turn it in a counter clockwise motion to unscrew it until it pops free.

Pull crown out one click and set date. If the watch has a date perform this step, if not move on to the next step. Pull the crown out one click. Twist crown clockwise and counter clockwise to set the day and date to the previous days day and date. The purpose of this is to set the date by setting the time and insuring the watch is in the correct a.m. and p.m. mode.

Pull crown out to the next click and set time. Pull the crown out the to next click. This is the time setting mode. Set the time by turning the crown clockwise until the day or date changes to the current date. This is the a.m. mode. Continue to the correct time. If it is a p.m. time this will require moving one full circuit of the dial past the twelve again and then to the correct time. If you fail to do this, the date will change at noon. If there is no date, simply set it to the correct time.

Push in and screw down crown to retain water resistance. Push crown down into its furthest setting. If it is a screw-down crown, press the crown in with a finger and twist it clockwise. Be careful here not to cross thread the crown in the crown tube or it will need to be replaced. It should be smooth and easy to turn. If any pressure or resistance is felt stop and start over. If you fail to screw in a screw down crown your Sector Sport watch will not be water resistant.

Cant set wrist watch

To set a basic wristwatch, simply pull the crown (the winder button at the 3:00 position on 99% of watches) out gently - it will click into adjusting position. Wind to send time and then push back in again.

Variations on this are: If you have a watch with date display, the crown will have 2 positions, the first click will be to set the date and the second click (fully out) is to set time. If you need to adjust the date, I suggest you wind the date to the day before you need and then use the second click to wind the hands to the correct date. This way you will be able to know if you have the hour at a.m or p.m position and avoid it have the date changing during the day instead of at night.

One last variation for wristwatches is a screw down crown. Some water resistant and sports models incorporate an added feature whereby the crown is threaded so it can be tightened down to avoid water entering - the most common place water gets into a watch! If you have one of these, you simply need to screw the crown anticlockwise until it pops out and then refer to the instructions above. Don't forget to push and screw the crown back in clockwise when you are done

Hello! I bought the Invicta 8939 Ladies watch with 200m water resistance. The manual says that for most Invicta watches, you need to unscrew it first when adjusting the date or time. Mine doesn't...

Most good dive watches with a screw in crown need the crown to be pushed in and turned clockwise AT THE SAME TIME in order to screw in the crown fully and make the watch watertight.

When you want to adjust the date or time, you just rotate the crown counter-clockwise until it pops out a bit. If you gently pull the crown out to the first position you can turn it to adjust the date. If you pull the crown out farther, to the second position, then you can turn it to adjust the time.

Never take your watch into the water unless the crown is fully screwed in finger tight or water will get into the watch movement compartment and ruin it.

Good luck, hope this helps.

SETTING DATE&TIME

i cant get a manual for this but watches have standard mechanical function so maybe this will do.
the center crown of the watch right side of the picture, loosen the crown. Be careful, some crown have a screw function so if your bulova has this don't force to pull it to prevent damage. if you have loosen the crown, check if can be turn it, if yes pull gently the crown, first pull date adjust, second pull time adjust.
This is the proper way to adjust you day and time.
say you want to adjust your watch to (date)10th (time)10:15am
adjust your date to 9th, then move your watch hands clockwise until the date change at 12oclock this is the evening time (PM) continue moving your watch hands until you reach 10:15am.
if your crown is a screw time remember to turn it close tightly for waterproofing.
