The patent leather on my laces are coming off took them to a shoe repair he said nothing he can do help I want to wear my shoes

We had a shoe repair shop in our town. It was run by "can't fix Bill ". His most common thing was "can't fix". We took our stuff to Tony in the next town and Tony fixed them. Check with another repair shop.

Theres the obvious which is get new shoes because they do still make them, but there are other solutions. One you can wear the laces as they are. Two you can look online to find new laces, but they are extremely hard to find. Three look for laces that are similar but can replace the laces. Four buy a used pair just for the laces. Now all of these will only work if they laces can come off. If not then there is nothing you can really do to fix the laces the way they were unfortunately.
