I have a Belkin N600 HD (FD78301). It was working fine but after few weeks the light turned orange from green. I started having intermittent problems accessing the internet. The router has the following setup: 1) Eco mode ON to reduce intensity of the green light 2) self healing ON - router will reboot at 3:00 am everyday restarting the router did not fix the issue. Finally I reset to factory defaults and then set up my router again which made the router light green. Is this any indication of any kind of hardware problem. I have the latest firmware 1.00.30 uloaded from belkin site: F7D4301-8301_WW_1.00.30.bin thanks.

try resetting the router

If the green light is one of the port lights, then your network is switching into 10mbs (Orange = 10mbs, Green = 100mbs) - it may be a dodgy cable but more likely a faulty network card in your PC.

To get the connection back all you need to do is just connect the modem to the router to the yello port & computer to any gray port on the router.
& unplugg the power from the router first & then from the cable modem. Wait 30sec & plug the power to the cable modem first & then once the modem is on completly plug the power to the belkin router.
The light will turn green & start working.

This is an intermittent connection.
To avoid this happening over & over kindly update the firmware in the router.
you can login to the belkin.com/support web site to download & know the procedures to update the firmware in the router.

i bought this router earlier in the year. after trying to set it up and having problems i called belkin, who told me to call my internet supplier. virgin tried but couldnt help and told me ring belkin again. after trying everything they told me for about an hour and still no joy, i took it back to the shop.

i just replace the lamp, and don't have any light coming from lens,starting green (after a few seconds,green become to flash), then turning on orange and lamp light flashing...please i need help, fan working perfect...i don't have a remote,is a problem, or not

try using anaothe one of the same make , if it works then that one is faulty( get a new one and test it out to see if it works) then return it!
