When my Kenmore front loader goes into the spin cycle, it sounds like there are a ton of medium sized rocks in it. It is very loud. I turned it off and removed the clothes. What is causing it to do that?

If it is a ge kenmore it sounds like your tub bearing is dry and needs to be replaced. The reason i say ge kenmore is because they fall under differant companys depending on witch year you bought it
Unless your front loader is set firmly on concrete
and leveled to perfection, the force of a heavy wash load spinning in
excess of 1000rpm will create a bit of vibration and noise.A firm footing is your best defense against to much movement. Also due to the earlier movements during the spin cycle, the
shocks that are used to dampen the spin cycle might have been broken or
damaged. If the problem persists inspite of proper levelling, please do check for the shocks or might have them replaced them for good.

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.
