Frigidaire side by side Refrigerator model # PHSC239DSB, serial # LA44703828: problem: temperature in refrigerated side doesn't stay consistent. The freezere temp is fine but the refrigerator compartment flucuates & warms so that milk will spoil. We have placed a thermomator in a glass of water and it will register 40degrees. However, at some time during the day it flucuates and warms again, then returns to 40 degrees. We have replaced the Dapper Control and the Computer Control and it bring the temp to 40 degrees, but then sometime during the day it still warms up!

Sounds like the defrost timer isn't set to the correct time. You want it to operate in the middle of the night not during the day.

SOURCE: Freezer temperature won't get cold enough.

This might sound stupid, but I had a similar problem. A few years ago when I was renting I noticed that suddenly my freezer stopped working well. I eventually had to call my landlord to check it out. It turned out that there was a knob to adjust the freezer temp and I had turned it to the warmest setting somehow. If it isn't that, I would return the freezer.

Hope that works for you

Flap won't stop humming buzzing

Fridge keeps beeping or buzzing: The following is for Frigidaire models but others can be addressed similarly.

Several Frigidaire refrigerator models have an electronic control panel on the freezer door the owner can use to adjust the internal temperature, dispense ice and water and receive notification about issues such as the need to replace a water filter. The refrigerators also emit a beep for various actions and as an occasional alarm. Determining what causes the beeps necessitates some troubleshooting.
Temperature Controls ·A Frigidaire refrigerator's display panel blinks when the control panel is touched to set temperature controls. After pressing "Freezer Temp" or "Refrigerator Temp" on the keypad, press the arrow buttons within five seconds to increase or decrease the desired temperature. If you do not press the arrow buttons within five seconds after pressing "Freezer Temp" or "Refrigerator Temp" on the keypad, the refrigerator beeps to indicate the current setting will stay in place.

Door Open ·When you leave the refrigerator or freezer door open, the refrigerator beeps. Also, the "Door Ajar" indicator illuminates on the appliance's display panel. Shutting the door and pressing "Alarm Reset" stops the beeping and turns off the "Door Ajar" indicator light.
·The Frigidaire refrigerator has a control lock feature that prevents use of its control panel or dispensers when the unit is locked. When the control lock is active, a beep sounds when a keypad or dispenser is pressed. Release the control lock by pressing the "Control Lock" icon for three seconds. A beep will sound, and the icon's light will go out.
Power Reset ·A power reset is occasionally necessary if the Frigidaire refrigerator's control panel does not work normally or a reset function on the keypad does not work. A power reset involves disconnecting power to the refrigerator by unplugging its power cord from the electrical outlet, waiting 30 seconds and plugging the power cord back into the electrical outlet. When the control panel resets, a beep sounds. If the refrigerator beeps even after a power reset and the beeps' source is not known, contact Frigidaire.

Where is the control board located on refrigerator frigidaire model #PHSC39egss0?

If it's like my PHSC239DSB, it's behind the front grill, left side, in a box that will slide out once you take out a screw. If there are two screws, one going upward and one toward the back, take out the one going upward. It's a bit more difficult but you won't have the metal bracket hanging down and in the way. Should just slide out. If not, use a flashlight to see where it's hanging up. Mine comes out far enough to unplug all connectors and to take off the bracket holding the harnesses in.

Frigidaire model PHSC239DSBO has no power to ice and water dispenser

I have the same problem. Also no power to the water valves or the connection at the top hinge of the freezer door. Also, nothing at the wire going to the freezer light switch. The switch is good as is the bulb. Everything else seem to be working ok. Wondering where to check next.

Behind front grill below the doors, on the left in a box held in by one screw. There are two screws there. I unscrew the one pointing up so the metal bracket comes out with the box.

Water & ice dispenser don't work

The button lock switch along with the other switches on the door use one common return wire for power to the solenoids. The freezer door light switch will stop power to the buttons if it has failed.

Door will open will not close

Hello,

The door on a refrigerator is an important component to the over all functionality of the refrigerator. A simple refrigerator door repair can potentially save hundreds of dollars in energy every year.
Check the Hinges
A misaligned door hinge can release cold air from inside the refrigerator, causing it to run less efficiently. If the door doesn't shut evenly it could be a problem with a hinge. The easiest repair for this is to simply tighten the screws that hold the hinges. If this doesn't solve the problem try to see if the hinges are level. You may need to replace the hinges all together.
The Door Gasket
The rubber piece that circles the entire door serves a purpose more than just helping the door close quietly. It should form a seal that maintains the temperature inside the refrigerator. If the gasket is cracked or warped you will need to replace this. Find the model number for your refrigerator and you can find the right gasket. Some gaskets are simply put on with adhesives, others require clamps or screws.
The Light
If you have a faulty door switch, the light may stay on in your refrigerator. This wastes valuable energy. To check this simply find the switch and press on it with the door open. Sometimes a thorough cleaning of the switch can fix the problem.

By maintaining your refrigerator door and making the necessary repairs you can save yourself a lot of money in lost energy costs.

I hope this help in solving the problem....
