I have a LHD65EBLY7 that is a few years old. Turned it on this year and it runs but collects no water.

Not collecting very much water.

well 1st thing i tell everybody when this comes up is to reveryify your humidistat settings , you never know how that gets changed but it does sometimes second if unit is more than a few years old its less efficent and you might think about an upgrade to a better unit , saves u money in electric as well

Dehumidifier lights up comes on will only run for a few minutes does not collect any water

You probably have it set for too high (moist) a setting, so it doesn't need to run long.

Slowly reduce setting to Drier settings to get it to run longer.

4-5 years old. Has work great all that time. In the past week it stop collecting water. It runs but never any water in it. It's not leaking out. The collection pail is dry as a bone.

Does not collect water (also 2 years old).

the evaporater coils rot out and the freon leaks out. thats about all the longer these newer ones last now.

Dehumidifier

if the fins feel cold then you should be collecting condensate. so try this: remove the outer shell to access the fins. with a garden hose, spray the fins off thoroughly. you may see a lot of dust and line that was clogging the air flow.
