SOURCE: Globalmap 2000 sonar not responding
Not enough info to diagnose your problem. It sounds like a networking problem. I couldn't find a manual for the sam-st module so I'm not sure how you have it hooked up. Typically with these devices only one would be hooked up to the SONAR module, and it would then share the data with the other display via an ethernet or NMEA2000 network. The erratic behavior of your bluewater could be due to some sort conflict with the current coming from the GlobalMap2000. Do you get the same problem when the 2000 is turned off? Have you tried running the GlobalMap2000 with the bluewater turned off?
SOURCE: unable to track the bottom
I think you need to level the transducer. You have it pointed way out in front of you so that when you're going fast it is able to bounce the signal off the bottom and it comes back to where the boat has traveled to. When you're going slow you're bouncing it out in front of you but it comes back up in front of you. Sorry but I can't find a picture of a Garmin transducer. Hope this helps.

Yes. It sounds as if You need to contact garmin or a sports store that sells this device in your area and purchase the software to update your machine.
