There is no Factory reset option to reset all settings at one press with this TV. You have to enter each menu window and select the option reset, and press [Vol >] button. OK.

Depending on your model, the CF could mean the filter needs to be changed or that the unit needs to be reset. If your model doesn't have a reset button, you can unplug the unit from the outlet for 5 minutes.
It sounds that there is any loose solder terminals at the main board, especially with the vertical scan output section circuit. It will be best to contact any service technician to get it repaired. Gopakumar Gopalan Google
You have a faulty display module due to one or more components leaking. Some models have a seperate display module that can replaced without the complete board having to be replaced. If not, the board needs to be replaced. You need to ask your spares suppliers that have info. on that model.
This set has a power button on the far right of all the buttons on the front. I looked at page 11 of the owners manual http://ec1.images-amazon.com/media/i3d/01/A/man-migrate/MANUAL000001840.pdf and it shows it very clearly. It looks as if the power button may be turned the opposite way from the other buttons. Thanks
On my GE Tv/VCR Combo I had a similar problem. Try holding down the Power button on the remote for at least 7 seconds. This disengages the parental controls. I found this solution on another website after my tv stopped working after my 20 month old played with the remote for a while. This solution was not in manual. I am assuming that he held down the power button for 7 seconds to engage the parental control. Hope this helps!
I i knew the model, But what is happening is the machine is not reading the machine ram. One of the memory sticks is print memory and one contains the machine firmware. In order of likely hood here is what has happened. 1. The memory stick simply needs to be removed and re seated in the slot. 2. The memory itself has failed. Needs to be replaced and the machine firmware reloaded. 3. The machine firmware has corrupted and needs reloaded. 4.You need to to an NVRAM reset. 5. The battery maintaining the memory has failed. 6. The main board in the machine has failed. 7. Corruption, which a reset will remove. Can't tell you how to or if you can do a NVRAM reset without knowing the model number.
