You'll have to uninstall and re-install Word 2007. Evidently it disabled itself after the 30-day trial period because you didn't enter the product key. Even then, since the 30-day period expired, it may refuse to run at all unless you enter the product key. Word 2003 was your secondary application for .doc files until Word 2007 went away; now it is your primary application. Note: you can get a free .docx converter for Word 2003 from the Microsoft downloads page; this will let you use those files if you don't have legal product key available for Word 2007.

That should be the code at the back of the box in which you got your CD. You have to enter it to activate the product once you install it.

try to install another software microsoft, maybe your software there are missing file. or try install again if necessary buy another one.

The product key should be supplied by the distributor. Be caustious that any alphabetical characters are not zero and one in numeral form. and vice versa. It is poor management to use these characters as they often appear alpha when they are numeric. Try subsituting these characters first.

To get you buy temporarily, buy a portable flexible laptop for 15 bucks at Bed, Bath and Beyond (they have a nice little gadget area) This will allow you access, the keyboard can be rolled up when not used and is USB. Then either search for a "key" or the whole keyboard on Ebay...they are usually 15-25 bucks. Below is the service manual for your laptop for disassembly of needed components.

Its against company and expert policy to give out product keys for pirated software.
Don't enter a product key when you install Vista, you will then have either 3 or 28 days to find one, even if you find a key the OS will take, chances are Microsoft will not activate it because the keys are already in use.
You can purchase a key from Microsoft.
