I downloaded chicony .3M_1.0.4.1 15 from emachines website for e725. I ran the setup.everything is installed but the camera is not opening could u please help?

My e725 wouldn't start it's camera after updating to windows 7.
A free program from iobits, nl. driverbooster might help.
It helped me.

Install the drivers from the website.

Plug in a USB mouse and then try to download the Acer driver for your touchpad here: http://support.emachines.com/em/driver/index.html

If you install the newest driver off of the Emachines website, and the touchpad still doesn't work, then it is possible that the touchpad has gone bad.

Hi i have the same model Emachine Laptop E725 and all you have to do is go to this website http://emachines.com/ . Once the page shows up select > Customer care > Drivers and downloads > Notebook > E-series > Select E725 or other model that you have > Confirm> After that it will show you the page which you can change the operating system WIN XP, Vista or Windows 7 it depends on your operating system just select the right one. Scroll down for E725 model I am using Chicony Vendor. You can try it. Hope this will work for you ..

Under MS Windows Vista, choose 9 depending on which camera you have. If you aren't sure, try installing both. It might tell you if you have the wrong driver when you try to install it. In that case download and install the other number 9 driver.

Yes. E-machines E725 does have an in-built webcam. You need to install the drivers for the Webcam to work.

Download the drivers from the below web link:

Choose the Operating system.
