TODAY, THE PICTURE STOPPED WORKING, nothing on screen, no fuzz. When I press button to turn it on, it clicks, then short fan noise, then clicks again and shuts down. No sound or picture, no fuzz comes up on screen. I have turned off the power 3 times, waited for the circuts to clear, then turned back on...same thing, a little fuzz on screen for 1 second, then seems to shut off. The cords are OK, power is ok to TV. TV is maybe 5-7 years old...out of warrentee. anything you suggest will be appreciated. NOTE: last repaired 3 years ago by technician that came to house after lightening fried inside...replaced parts, but this is too soon to buy another TV.

My bathroom Broan exhast w/light makes a constant clicking / tick tock sort of noise when the fan is not running. as soon as I turn the fan on the noise stops and then stops after I turn the fan off, only...

remove the cover and clean anything in the vent , check the fan for anything that could be touching it, as the back draft comes through the vent, something could just be touching the fan blade as this draft makes the blade turn slowly, which would create a ticking noise

Buzz noise behind dashboard 2001 GS300 LEXUS

The buzz noise is probably coming from the airflow controls turned off but being stuck in a particular mode such as vents and feet mode or winshield and feet mode, creating a buzzing noise while it is turned off. To stop the buzzing noise turn off the aircondition / heat by pressing the off button, next press the mode button for the fan controls to make the picture point to face only not feet or winshield, this should stop the noise.

If it was the lamp there should be nothing. press the menu button if the menu does not come up the issue is with the tv. If the menu does come up try a second source a dvd player or game system. If the issue is only with the original source than the original source needs to be replaced.

Hp ZD8000 worked witout problem. Got it out today ,hit the power button and initial fan noise and leds lit - thats it . no screen nothing. Any simple tests?

Hard reset. Turn off the notebook. Remove the battery. Remove the power cord. Press and hold the power button for thirty seconds. Do not expect the notebook to turn on. We are trying to reset something internally. After that put the battery in. Now, the power cord too. See if you can login to windows. Hope this helps.

I have a problem with my webcam sound. I recorded my assignment speech and when i try to listen to the speech, there was no sound coming out from the webcam. i tried everything and nothing worked. Can you...

Hi chinonsobeau,

First off, you to list the model number of your HP web Cam, as well as your OS, and the software you using to record your sound. I will assume that you have Quickplay which HP ususally send out with their web cams.

To access QuickPlay, just press the "blue QuickPlay button" next to the power button. If it doesn't load QuickPlay, just do "Start" - "All Programs" - then you will see QuickPlay listed there. If you still can't find it just do a search, you will find the short-cut. If you still don't find it, then HERE is a place you can download it and use it. It also has instruction on how to use it.

Or sometimes HP sends out Cheese, another camera software. You can download that HERE.

These are the instructions for QuickPlay:

Once launched QuickPlay, click on the 2nd icon from left (between DVD and TV icon), then double-click on "HP Pavilion WebCam" from the left side panel, then you will see the blue LED light lit and you should see yourself on the screen. (Double-click "yourself" to enlarge image)

To take a picture or record video, just press the corresponding buttons on the top. (the red circle icon is for recording video (press "Stop" icon to stop recording), the camera icon is for, well, camera)
Videos and pictures are saved at:
Pictures -- C:\Users\Public\Pictures\My Snapshots
Videos -- C:\Users\Public\Videos\HP Webcam

I'm less familiar with Cheese, so I'll give you their website HERE to go to their support and they can guide you through their program.

Anyway, I hope this helps,

Don't forget to leave a raing,

Thanks

Mark

Acer travelmate 4000 laptop Big problem

I guess I can assume that you have it plugged into the ac power, so you know its not a power problem. We also know its not a problem with the power switch since the light turns on. So that leaves, motherboard, cpu, and ram possible problems. Ram would unlikely cause such a hault. Even with no ram, I believe the computer would make horrible beeping noises. So if its a problem with the motherboard or cpu, its pretty much trash, unless you want to waste the money on ebay or some place for another cpu to try to swap.
