That delay is from your cable service, if you are in area that is in a switch digital location that is why your are getting the delay, the cable company may need to come install an amp to fix this problem. charter Comcast and some of the other giants are still operating in switch digital but upgrading every day.

My radio shack pro 433 scanner started scanning real slow how can I fix it

I checked the manual and there is nothing that says that the scanning speed can be changed. It is locked at 90 channels per second. There are a number of delays that can be set on channels when scanning. Putting delays on channels can slow down the scanning, as can having your squelch too loose.

What do i have to do to correct the delay between channels when changing.the delay is approx. 20 secs.Every thing elese is ok.

Go into the TV set-up menu for Video resolution. Default likely is YES to all resolutions, possibly causing signal-negotiation delay. Change 480i, 480p, 720p 1080p to NO and 1080i to YES. (If delay is resolved, try 1080p=YES too)

Sharp Aquos LC-42D62U 42in hdtv lcd How do I get the channels to change faster? It's like a delay compared to my other hdtv

There is a 3-5 second delay between the channels when you change them on these particular tvs and there is no way to change that unfortunately.

Delay when changing channels

there is a delay in the remote?

usually there is a delay on the tv set itself....thanks to the digital world that we know, it takes a second for the digital tv top box, or internal HD tuner to process the digital signal.

Channel stuck problem

Hi,
How long does it take (in seconds) before it changes teh channel? Because some TV's, if you have more than 10 channels, have to wait before they change because you might want to change to a higher channel Example:
suppose your TV has 99 channels but your remote has only buttons from 0 to 9. So if you want to switch to channel 7 the TV waits a little before it actually switch to 7 because there might come another nuber after the 7 as the TV doesnot know what channel you wants. 2 to 3 seconds should be the maximum delay.
If it takes more time, check if this can be changed in the menu, often there is a delay possibility in the setup menu.
If teh delay is over 4 seconds and you still have warranty on it, just return it to the vendor.

TV changes channel changed before all numbers entered in remote

Possibly you're not hitting the numbers fast enough or there is a problem in the delay circuit in the microprocessor. Stargazer

Delay in built in tuner is unacceptable

Because it has a built in tuner there will be a delay since the tuner has to process all bands for each channel for analog and digital signal.
