Restore phone to factory default settings
Restoring your phone can be useful if you lend out the phone or just want to restore your phone to factory default settings and delete all user data.
To perform a master reset of settings and delete all settings and user data:

1. Select Menu > Settings > General (tab) > Master reset.
2. Select an option:
   • Reset settings: If you want to delete all user data, such as contacts, messages, and downloaded games.
   • Reset all: If you want to reset both user data and restore all original phone settings.
3. Select Continue > Continue.
4. The phone restarts.
