Hi,Ok look at the DVD drawer carefully , you will see a tiny hole , this hole is expressly to eject the DVD when the electronic eject has failed . Take an ordinary paper clip and straighten it out . now insert the clip into the hole and press , this will release the drawer mechanism and with it your lost DVD Too easy !!!

Also
Removing the back cover would only allow you access to the frame and shields which must also be removed. Thereafter the DVD deck must be removed and repaired or replaced otherwise the TV will not be usable as it will still be locked in DVD mode. The system is waiting for a trigger pulse from the DVD deck that the disc has been released / ejected before it will accept any command to switch to other sources.

Unplug the unit for an extended period of time (an hour or so). The ides is to discharge and force the system to revert to factory defaults. Thereafter, try the above again. Should that still be not corrective, then perhaps your best bet would then be to consult with and/or seek the services of an authorized Service Center (specially if still under some form of extended warranty) or a qualified professional

if the DVD unit uses a slot type entry, have you tried using a credit card like something to 'fish' / 'jar' the erring disc while pressing on the EJECT button? Spraying with a can of compressed air through a nozzle like tubing may also be considered. The idea is to float the disc to initiate the eject procedures. A likely possibility is that the center hole of the disc is stuck to the spindle of the player.

Good luck and thank you

How can I program my LG DVD remote control COV33662806 to my LG 55 Roku television.

You can't, the LG DVD Remote is single frequency.

If you are lucky, the LG Television Remote, might control an LG DVD.

If you have lost a remote, have a read of this

DVD disc stuck in vision plusTV/DVD combo

There should be a tiny hole somewhere on the front of the DVD tray, where you put the disk in. If it's not on the tray itself, it should be very close to it. Bend a paper clip out a bit, and carefully press it into that tiny little hole, and the tray should open up. If that doesn't work, then it's physically jammed, and mechanically unable to open.

DVD disc stuck in built in dvd on LG LCD TV/DVD combo

1. Power the set down.
2. Hold the eject button on the drive while you plug it back in and power it back up.

That should eject the drive.

LG DR787T Multi DVD Recorder is stuck. When I turn on unit it is stuck on hello. It flashes or blinks but will not do anything else. Can not open tray drawer.

If the problem isnt solved by a Unplug and plug back in, it will be a return to LG issue I am afraid, this unit is prone to faulty Hard drives and Power units, both of which can cause this error, there is no way to disern which one is causing it

Dvd player thinks it's loading a dvd but there is no disk in the player. it won't stop trying to load after turning power off, ejecting, etc

Unplug the TV.
Use a flashlight and look inside the player you may see a DVD or a label from a DVD inside.
If you are sure theri is no DVD stuck in the player then the player may need to be replaced..

Contact LG @ 1800 243-0000 The TV has a 1 year full warranty.
If you are past the 1 year they may help you with the repairs just be patient and polite.
