dear phillip james, i would like to try and help you today. could you please let me know if this error just started coming up suddenly or after a wireless card upgrade or replacement?
Go to the network connection or network and internet connection in the control panel. The pc maybe picking up wireless connection from other devices around you. You can go there and remove them.
I found a few issues that this could stem from, though the more often occuring was from an upgrade performed on the laptop. Please refer to http://www.richud.com/HP-Pavilion-104-Bios-Fix/ for a walk through on repairing the problem.
The user has not described the operating system in use.
However this problem generally occurs due to incompartible hardware. in this case it is ever stated. ie. Network interface Device. I suggest you disconnect the Network devices including cables, then try to reboot.
If not descibe how far the booting process gets and type of network hardware connected and operating system to your system
